Lady Foot Locker Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Foot Locker Retail, Inc. is an American sportswear and footwear retailer, with its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, and operating in 28 countries. Although established in 1974, and founded as a separate company in 1988, Foot Locker's roots date to 1879, as it is a successor corporation to the F. W. Woolworth Company (“Woolworth's”), as many of its freestanding stores were originally Kinney Shoes and Woolworth's locations. The company operates the eponymous “Foot Locker” chain of athletic footwear retail outlets (along with “Kids Foot Locker” and “Lady Foot Locker” stores), and other athletic-based divisions including Champs Sports, Footaction USA, House of Hoops, and Eastbay/Footlocker .com, which owns the rights to Final-Score. The company is also famous for its employees' uniforms at its flagship Foot Locker chain, resembling those of referees.
User "Rachel D." on the "Influenster" website, April 24, 2015, negatively reviewed a Lady Foot Locker store:
"I don't like this store. They don't provide the little pantyhose socks to try on shoes. But instead told me I either had to buy a pack of their socks to use to try on [the shoes], or they had a basket of dirty socks that people had left around the store over the years. Excuse me? I would give this store a 0 if possible. I won't be back."
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Everything else. Long hours, overtime is not worth the effort. You are basically running the store so you are responsible for the store's numbers during your shift but you also must remain competitive because you are also on commission based on your own numbers. Therefore if there is something that needs to get done and you are the only manager on duty you lose out on your own commission. They also don't want you to go to school because they need you available 24/7 to sell sneakers."
Current Employee - Sales Associate says"It's a small store and it's just a lot of standing around. Your schedule will get changed a lot and I was told we're not supposed to have a "set schedule""
Former Employee - Cashier says"One of my managers would randomly quiz me on types of shoes ( I knew most of them) but it felt like I was treated like a child. She really didn't like me at all. My very first day there I worked with her and she ignored my questions and let me struggle to learn/teach myself how to properly find shoes in the back or even how to assist customers in returns. The pay was laughable too, but hey it is what it is."
Former Employee - Sales Associate says"Pay is horrible, hours inconsistent, manager hires anybody. Too much staff and too much drama. Management needs to hire people who are Experienced so the other workers don't have to pick up such a big load."
Former Employee - Ladies Shoes Sales Associate says"The company is all about THE COMPANY. The little people do not matter and management can be very pushy."
Current Employee - Retail Sales Associate says"Overtly competitive. Horrible sales advice. Basically have to con people into buying things that they never intended on getting. That's probably all retail positions but more overtly so."
Current Employee - Sales Lead says"Terrible pay at slow stores"
says"Managment is set as a cap so everyone who is a manager isnt getting any higher up and isnt planning on leaving, also the pay sucks. No commision unless youre full time or a manager which are both hard to do."
says"Terrible upper management. Favoritism. Sense of not mattering in the company and that everyone was replaceable. Would never work there again."
Current Employee - Store Manager says"slow all the time, alot of work for little pay"
